Flight instruction.

If you are interested in learning to fly gliders, you can contact Aeroclub Nistelrode. We have the possibility to teach English speaking students. Since instruction for non-Dutch speaking students is not our daily practice, please contact us via the contact form. We will make an appointment with you at our club house where we will talk about starting to fly gliders, and what it means to be a club member.

Glider theory lessons are given each winter for our members, but these will be conducted in Dutch. Theoretical exams are also conducted in Dutch. The start of your flying career can certainly be done in English, but as you progress towards a licence, you will need to master the Dutch language.

At Aeroclub Nistelrode it is possible to experience glider rides. We fly on Saturday and Sunday from 12.00u. Everybody from age 8 to 88 can fly with us, the only restriction is that you do not weigh more that 100kg. This will be a ride to remember, acceleration is from 0-100kph in 3 seconds. In stark contrast up in the air, all is quiet and peaceful.

A glider ride costs €42,50 and will last between 8 and 20 minutes, depending on the weather. We fly from april through october, in good weather conditions. Rain or hard winds means we can not fly that day.
